Stores do that all the time. Generally it's either a change in vendors or suppliers, but it does drive one crazy.. As you said, constancy and dependability can keep you coming back.
I know you like Target but the Gap and J.Crew make those tees too and I really enjoy them. I believe J.Crew's are 100% cotton not sure about the Gap.
