Jingle - Hallmark Story Buddy

It's Christmas and there are commercials on TV this time of year that are actually worthwhile.
Commercials filled with happy music, colors and lights, and Christmas fun that trigger memories and nostaglia .
Commercials filled with toys and stuff for my daughter to add to her Wish List.
A ever growing list that she started around Thanksgiving time and continues to add to daily.

I will admit that the 7-year old in my husband and myself will keep Santa alive and well in our home until my kids are 30, no joke! I let her Wish List grow to pages if need be, but when it comes time to sit down and write her letter to Santa she has to narrow it down considerably. Santa is very busy and can only remember a couple of things about each little kid.

Anyhoo, Jingle the dog is one of the commercials that just pulls at the heartstrings.
He is sooooo freakin' cute.

She found Jingle at Target this weekend, but sadly he already belonged to another woman who was very unhappy about Eva removing the dog from her ABANDONED empty cart.
The words I wanted to call that woman. I let it go with a simple, "Sorry."

Eva turned 5 yesterday.
Yes, I have a 5 year old now.
WOW!

My dad called to ask for some Birthday gift ideas and I told him about Jingle.
He found him at his local Walgreens in the Hallmark card aisle.

If you have seen the commercial you know he is cute.
In person he is WAY cuter.

We read the story 3 times last night and the dog barks, whimpers, even sings in response to key sentences when read aloud.

Seriously, if you are shopping for a kid this Christmas this is so perfect a gift. He is not the only one either. There is a female named "Bell," and several other characters like a rabbit and Scooby-Doo.
