Coral & Mint - Bloggers Do It Better

Kristina from Pretty Shiny Sparkly has issued her first Bloggers Do It Better Challenge.

I was super excited when I saw her video last week, and immediately knew I would particpate.

Then life got in the way. I spent a day at the mall with nothing but Father's Day and a Baby Shower on my brain. I did not even glance into stores that might have offered me something to work with.

So, after scouring my closet I came out with a strapless coral dress. The ONLY coral item I own apparently. A mint dress and this mint polka dot blouse. I opted for the polka dot blouse and figured I could add some coral with a necklace. Which in my mind I already own. Do you ever do that??? Own things in your mind, but not in reality??

When reality set in I went for the best way I know to wear color. A bright lip!!

I feel a little inadequate with this first challenge, but I told myself that I would participate, and I walk away with a little note to self:

*Need a coral necklace. Need more coral and mint pieces in wardrobe PERIOD

I know, your thinking these are small pictures. I am still learning my camera and the settings. So I had to crop out a lot of the picture which resulted in these images. I know there has to be a way to make them bigger and I will LEARN!!!
